Become a Foster

Provide temporary care for a cat while helping Hopewell Humane Society meet current shelter needs.

Why Foster?

  • Create space for another cat in need
  • Give kittens or adult cats a home environment
  • Support recovery, confidence, and social development
  • Help the shelter learn more about a cat’s personality

Placement and Approval

Foster placement depends on current shelter needs, available animals, your home, and the type of care required. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or immediate placement.

Veterinary authorization: Veterinary care must be authorized by Hopewell Humane Society before treatment is arranged, except in an immediate emergency. Contact the shelter as soon as safely possible during an emergency.
