Pet Food Pantry
Temporary food assistance for qualifying Hopewell residents who are responsibly caring for their pets.
Eligibility and Required Documents
Please bring everything required for an in-person review.
You Must Provide
- Proof that you currently live in Hopewell, Virginia
- Current rabies documentation for every pet receiving assistance
- Accurate information about the pets in your care
Program Rules
- Assistance is limited to once every 30 days per household
- Food is subject to approval and available inventory
- Brands, formulas, and quantities cannot be guaranteed
- The program provides temporary help, not permanent food support
Authorized Approval
Only the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager may approve a request or distribute food through this program. Other employees and volunteers are not authorized to approve or provide pantry food.
Before You Visit
Come during Pet Food Pantry pickup hours with your documents. Providing documents does not guarantee assistance. Eligibility, responsible care, the 30-day limit, and available inventory are reviewed before food is distributed.
Need Temporary Help Feeding Your Pet?
Hopewell residents may visit Saturday or Sunday from 4:00–5:00 PM with proof of residency and current rabies documentation for each pet.
Approved households may receive assistance once every 30 days.
